This recipe book started as an experiment. A few months before my daughter, Maeve, was born, I decided to make some healthy, comforting meals to freeze for after her arrival. I knew nothing about babies but I knew this: I'm a better person when I eat food that's good for my body.
This "experiment" ended up literally saving my sanity during those first postpartum months. The newborn stage is not for the faint of heart; these meals brought some semblance of normalcy to the evenings and made me feel good, without having to spend any energy. I hope it does the same for you.
